Report on the Meeting of the Alumni Association Regarding Golden Jubilee Celebration
A meeting of the Alumni Association was organized to discuss the forthcoming Golden Jubilee Celebration of Smt. Allum Sumangalamma Memorial College for Women, Ballari. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid mode, with alumni and members participating both offline and through an online platform. Nearly 50 members attended the meeting through online and offline modes. The program was initiated with an invocation by Kum. Amrutha Yadav is seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the successful conduct of the program. Ms. Sreevani coordinated and carried out the proceedings of the meeting. Ms. Shubha warmly welcomed the CGC Chairperson Smt. KATHYAYANI M MARIDEVAIAH, Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh, Alumni Association office bearers, alumni, and all the members who had joined the meeting both physically and online. Ms. Pallavi briefed the gathering about the purpose of the meeting and highlighted the various activities planned for the Golden Jubilee celebration. The Chairperson, Principal, and Office bearers of the Alumni Association addressed the gathering and shared their valuable thoughts and suggestions regarding the successful organization of the Golden Jubilee Celebration. They emphasized the importance of the active participation and cooperation of all alumni in making the celebration memorable and meaningful. The members discussed various aspects of the celebration, particularly the contribution of alumni towards the Golden Jubilee program. The importance of alumni participation and support in strengthening the institution and making the celebration a grand success was also emphasized. Another important matter discussed was the preparation of the “Smarana Sanchike” (Souvenir). Alumni were encouraged to contribute their memorable experiences, thoughts, photographs, and write-ups about their association with the college so that their memories could be preserved for future generations. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Ashwini, who expressed gratitude to the chairperson, principal, Alumni Association office bearers, alumni, staff members, and all the participants who joined the meeting both online and offline. The meeting was successfully conducted with active participation and valuable suggestions from the members. The enthusiasm and cooperation shown by nearly 50 participants reflected the strong bond between the alumni and the institution and gave a positive momentum towards the successful celebration of the Golden Jubilee.
