Smt.ALLUM SUMANGALAMMA MEMORIAL COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (Smt ASMC), BALLARI, Karnataka, was established in 1969 by the Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Ballari. It started with a student strength of 164 and today it can boast 1400 students. This College has been established with the avowed goal of fostering Women's education in this backward district of Karnataka state. It is a full-fledged College having courses of study of degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Science, and Computer Application and PG Studies in Commerce faculties. This College has earned the reputation in this area by securing consistently good academic results and ranks. The College has been known for its academic excellence. Every faculty has highly qualified experienced and competent teachers with M.Phil., and Ph.D., degrees.
