ದಿನಾಂಕ:20-08-2026ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಲ್ಲo ಸುಮಂಗಳಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ 2026-27ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾತ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಎo. ಮರಿದೇವಯ್ಯರವರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ವೀರಶೈವ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ವೀರಶೈವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಬಸವನಗೌಡ ತಿಮ್ಮನಗೌಡ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ರವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪಠ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪಠ್ಯೇತರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಆಯಾ ತರಗತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವೀರಶೈವ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಚೋರನೂರು ಟಿ. ಕೊಟ್ರಪ್ಪ ರವರು ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಬಿ ಗೋವಿಂದರಾಜ ರವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾತ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಎಂ. ಮರಿದೇವಯ್ಯ ರವರು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳು ನಿರಂತರ ಶ್ರಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಉಪಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ನುಡಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ದೂಪಂ ಸತೀಶ್ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. IQAC ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸಯಿದ ಕೆ ಫಾತಿಮಾ ತನ್ವೀರ್ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. IQAC ಸಹ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಭೀಮನಗೌಡ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ರವರು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಸಾಯನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ.ಪಿ. ಜೆ. ಬಿಂದು ರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಹೂಗಾರ ರವರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸುವರ್ಣಮ್ಮ ಡಿ ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಬೋಧಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.

English Report

The Inauguration program of various Cultural Associations for the academic year 2026-27 was organized at Smt. Allum Sumangalamma Memorial College for Women, Ballari, on 20.08.2026 @ College Auditorium. The program was presided over by Smt. Kathyayini M. Maridevaiah, College Governing Council Chairperson. Prof. Basavanagouda Thimmanagouda Patil, a member of the Managing Committee of Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha and Retired  Principal of Veerashaiva College, Ballari,  as a chief guest of the program.Prof.B T Patil, while addressing the students, said that curricular and extracurricular activities contribute to the all-round development of a personality among the students. He also mentioned that the various cultural associations in the college have been successful in shaping the personal and social values among the students. The oath ceremony was also held for the newly elected student union representatives like Secretary, Joint Secretary of the college, along with the secretaries and joint-secretaries for various cultural associations of the college and the class representatives. Honorable Ex-Secretary of V.V.Sangha Shree Choranur T.  Kotrappa, who is also a present member of the Managing Committee of Veerasaiva  Vidyavardhaka Sangha, also graced the program. Other dignitaries were Dr. B. Govindaraju, Special Invitee, were present  at the program. Smt. KATHYAYANI M MARIDEVAIAH, through her presidential remarks, convinced the students that the various cultural associations in the college have been providing continuous encouragement with their hard work. Therefore, all the students should take advantage of these associations. Principal  Dr. Dupam Satheesh introduced the chief guest, Dr.Syeda K.Tanveer Fatima, Coordinator of IQAC, who addressed the program by Introductory speech. Dr.Bheemanagouda Patil, Co-Coordinator of IQAC, gave a brief introduction to the various cultural associations of the college. Dr. Bindu P.J., HoD of Chemistry, welcomed the guests & gathering. Shri Basavaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of  Chemistry, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Suvarnamma D, Head of Kannada Department, compered the programme. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, as well as students, participated and made the programme a grand success.
