REPORT ON THE CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL UNITY DAY (RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS)

Venue: Open-Air Theatre, Smt. A.S.M. College for Women, Ballari, Date: 31st October 2026.

Smt. A.S.M. College for Women, Ballari, celebrated National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st October 2026 at the College Open-Air Theatre to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

The programme was organized to create awareness among students about the importance of national unity, integrity, solidarity and communal harmony. The celebration highlighted the invaluable contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel towards the political integration of India and his vision of a united and strong nation.

The programme emphasized the significance of unity in diversity and encouraged students to uphold the values of patriotism, mutual respect, discipline and national responsibility.

The celebration provided an opportunity for students and faculty members to reaffirm their commitment to preserving the unity, integrity and security of the nation.

Conclusion:
The National Unity Day celebration was organized with the objective of instilling a sense of national pride, patriotism and responsibility among students. The programme reinforced the message that national unity and integrity are essential for building a peaceful, harmonious and progressive India.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕತಾ ದಿನ 2026 (National Unity Day) ಅನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 31, 2026 ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಭಾರತದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಏಕೀಕರಣದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿ, "ಭಾರತದ ಉಕ್ಕಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯ" ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ವಲ್ಲಭಭಾಯಿ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಅವರ 151ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ ಜಯಂತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳ-ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ಏಕತಾ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಏಕತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ (Statue of Unity). ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಭವ್ಯ ಪೆರೇಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಸರ್ದಾರ್ ವಲ್ಲಭಭಾಯಿ ಪಟೇಲರನ್ನು "ಆಧುನಿಕ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಪಿತಾಮಹ" (Father of Modern All-India Services) ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಭಾರತದ ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ಪಟೇಲರು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದಿನದ ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 21ರಂದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ 'ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ ದಿನ' (National Civil Services Day) ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 

ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು: ಏಕತೆಗಾಗಿ ಓಟ (Run for Unity): ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಶಾಲಾ-ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮ್ಯಾರಥಾನ್ ಆಯೋಜನೆ. • ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಏಕತಾ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವಚನ: ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ. • ಏಕ್ ಭಾರತ್ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಭಾರತ್: ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1 ರಿಂದ 15 ರವರೆಗೆ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ 'ಭಾರತ್ ಪರ್ವ್' ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಆಯೋಜನೆ.
