Report on a One-Day Career Orientation Programme organized by Placement and Career Guidance Cell
The Placement and Career Guidance Cell in association with IQAC, has organized “A One-Day Career Orientation Programme” for all final-year students about competitive exams in state and central governments for graduates. The event was organised in the library seminar hall on 17-04-2026. Principal Dr. Dupam Satheesh presided over the event with IQAC Coordinator Dr. Syeda Tanveer and co-coordinator Dr. Bheemanagouda. N. Patil, chief guests Mr. C. Sham, Senior Faculty in Reasoning; Mr. K. Veeresh, Senior Faculty in Banking Awareness; and Mr. G. Kranti, Senior Faculty in Quantitative Aptitude, from Shreedhar’s College for Competitive Classes, and Placement Officer Sri Basavaraj.H., shared the dais. The dignitaries inaugurated the event by watering the plant. After inauguration the event Principal addressed the gathering and briefed them on the importance of awareness about job opportunities and preparation to crack dream jobs and also how the students are getting benefited by the orientation program. Placement Officer Mr. Basavaraj addressed the students to make the best use of these opportunities. The faculties of Sree Shreedhar classes took sessions on Reasoning, banking awareness, and quantitative aptitude. Ms. Dikshita, Faculty of the BCA Department and Member of the Placement Cell, carried out the event. Ms. Tejashwini, BCA-IV Semester invocated the event with a prayer song. Placement cell members Mr. Satish S., Ms. Dikshita D., Ms. Divya Budur, Ms. Anupama and HoD of Physics Mr. Chethan B.K. were present, and 150 students participated in the programme.
